hey guys...

i got a bit of a problem...

at school we use mac comps, anyways, as part of an assignment i was collecting a heap of pics and dragging and dropping them into a word doc...

then i saved the word doc onto my flash drive, (and i presumed all the pics came aswell, coz the doc was like 3.5mb in size)...

but wen i came home and tried to access the pics on my PC (xp pro), i get this, in the word doc...

i have quicktime installed, so i dunno why the pics arent working... sad.gif

i REALLY need these pics asap, is there anything i can download or whatever to alow me to view the pics...

thanks for any help...

Dude, u need a graphics program that can open .tif files by the sounds of things. Try the right click and "open image with" option. You may be able to view it in image viewer.

nah i need to be able to view them INSIDE the word document...

coz the images are part of a table within the doc...

the macs at skool use MS word, so it should be fine...

unless i dont have something installed on my version of word? maybe a plug-in is missing in my version of word or sumthin? who knows

any ideas?

ta for the help

to view the tiff files inside word you still need to have an appropriate decompressor.

my suggestion would be to convert the pics back to jpegs.

i can do this now if you want to send it to me...

The problem, in a nutshell, is that PowerPoint/Windows doesn't support QuickTime compression; installing QuickTime on the PC won't help.
