I've been watching ebay for some time in search of either a h700 or h900. After recent events where 6 of the h900 model were on sale at once, then eventually removed for fraudulent activity, I doubt this one is valid as he's using the same garb & shots.
Avoid getting involved with sellers who have a 1 day listing offering a cheap "buy it now" offer by emailing them. You will be asked to operate / trade outside of Ebays jurisdiction and You will get burned.

Dear mosoto

Item Title - Alpine F1 Status PXA-H900 Digital Multi Media Manager
Our records show that you placed a bid on this item. We removed this item from the Site and cancelled your bid because it appears that the seller's account has been compromised and used by an unauthorized third party. If the seller asks you to complete this transaction outside of eBay, we strongly recommend that you do not proceed with the transaction and do not respond to the seller. Transactions for items listed on eBay but then completed off of the eBay platform are not covered by buyer protection programs offered by eBay and can be highly indicative of fraud. For more information on Offers to Buy or Sell Outside of eBay, copy and past the following Help Page link into your browser:
I've seen the other fraudulent sales, and the latest one is no different. The common request in all was to BIN at 550 pounds "very quickly".The person who is posting the sales has a scrolling / changing user ID and a list of bogus Positive Feedback comments. They look legit but unfortunately are not.
like I said, be weary of 1 day listings, but if you insist on checking it out you'd better be quick

Why is it so hard to get a bargain these days...
surely someone's selling one that doesn't really know it's value...

You'd think, being obsolete and all, that they'd come down a bit - like to 2k or something.
Maybe in a few years, when we all have 10 outputs from the H/U with 4-way fully active fronts and DVD-Audio+SACD built in.....

why would you sell it shiny?
Because he can pick up another for less than 4K and make a profit?
