Hi all,
Bit undecided about what colour to paint the new custom pods in my car have them at the front and back for splits but not sure if I should paint them the same colour as the outside of the car (maroon) or paint them a similar shade to the upholstery and interior trim (bluish/green)??
What do you folks recon for best finish and intergration?

Well are you going for a stock looking secure install (not as obvious to thieves) or a better looking showy install? That's your first tough decision.
Then you need to ask, am I planning on upgrading the trim of my car at any stage? If so, what colour? If the answer is no, and you DO want a showy install, then yes, fibreglass pods sprayed the colour of your car will work. If the answer is yes, you may upgrade, I wouldn't be dropping big $ on custom pods if you may need to change them later.
HTH.

Not going to spend $$$ on retrim and the pods have created a showy sort of install which will be further expanded upon in the future. Interior is sort of an aqua colour which would look good on the pods but would have to paint other parts of the interior the same colour to match.

You'd probably be suprised to find how few parts you'd also have to do aqua in order to continue the theme. Things like door handles, locks, vents etc. can all be coloured to continue a theme without spending a lot of money.
