can anyone give me an idea on the cost of retrimming my soarer. At present its beige leather (white exterior) but i want all black interior with white seatbelts (do these exist?) and other white features (go collingwood

)
i want leather, i can do the floor myself, basically just after the seats.. any ideas as to the cost??
any feedback would be great, experiences etc.

Given the Soarer is a pretty large seat, I'd say you're looking at at least 2K for the type of retrim you're talking. As for white seatbelts, I don't think so. The best you could do is paint them, however I'm not sure what the laws are in regards to 'modifying' seatbelts.

you cant modify them. you have to get them in the colour you want.
Not sure if a different colours illegal, but you certainely *can* get them in every colour of the rainbow.

i'm also going to retrim my soarer in all-black leather everywhere except the seats (grey leather in mine).
i'll post pics when i start on it.
re: the belts. you cannot change seatbelts without getting an engineer to sign them off as adr compliant. it would be a pita and expensive at that. did you consider bleaching the colour out of them???

er, bleach and artificial fibre (a la, the seatbelt) probably not the best idea.

IIRC you can purchase coloured seatbelts.
White red etc
Dont think their cheap though.
Its about as safe as sound deadening your windscreen.
Oh and its illegal and silly to modify your existing ones

DO NOT go hammer and tongs with industrial strength peroxide... but there may be a way with something far more gentle.
... just a suggestion!
