Hey, as most of you may know, i have a small ported box.

About 2.5cu ft i think. Not exactly sure.

Anyways, after getting 131.3 with a sweep, i was reading up on orion subs and dicovered that they love small boxes.....

I can get a couple pretty cheap. Is it worth me upgrading?

I am running a Michael Angleo 1.7something-or-other D amp........ 1000WRMS

why dont u get 2x 2515s with around 3kw of power smile.gif
Sorin-Andrei
why not just up the size of the box? that boz is quite small...

There are two of these subs going for $300 each unused.....

Thats why....

Plus i have a design i wanna try out with regard to porting that will require 2 subs.....
DD-VT
the orions??

Where can u get a H2 for that much?
Retail is like $1299
and 1000wrms wont even move them... You need at least 1200wrms each or its not worth it...
I had one with 1500wrms and it would easily take double that power...

I am thinking of getting one amp per sub, rather than just one amp, but i'll consider your offer mate.

I just had a look and they are 8 OHM subs..... what the hell can i power them with?

As in Dual 4 ohm Voice coil subs.......

I was reading a thread, and if i wire them in parralell it will put a 2 ohm load on my amp......

http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/ISEO-rgb...ofers_dual.html

There it is.....
Sorin-Andrei
they're not 8ohm subs man, they're dual 4's, which means you'll most likely run them at 2 ohms each.
CVBASS
yeah at that price they should sell very quickly, If I was you I'd use 1 big amp that can do say 3000wrms+ so you can get a 1ohm load...
