Anyone have any idea how they make the slick bottoms of bodyboards?
Specificially the final coat? What is it and how is it applied?

well i've got a wax right here thats an "underbody varnish" type thing. It goes on, you melt it down with a lighter or a hairdryer, and buff it up. Works a treat.
Friend of mines a combat systems operator in the navy, uses the same stuff on his boots to get that perfect shiny laminated look.

i do artwork on surfboards and thats pretty simple, but bodyboards are a little different.
the artwork can scratch or peel or crack etc if it is not sealed properly because of the flexibility in the bodyboard. hence my refinishing requirement. any ideas?
