What material ideas are there for using as a plate around the facia of the radio. I have a current model focus zetec, so I was considering something with the look of carbon fibre, but what other options are there that I could use. I don't want vynal etc as this would not suit the look of the car. Materials must be of dark colour. Head unit that will be installed into there will be a HX-D2 or Sound Monitor if I feel rich.

Even though its not getting cheaper, im a sucker for cf.

Get a cf gearknob, Razo have some good universal ones.

Make a rough mdf frame, Bog it up, Sand to shape. paint.

Think fibreglass, look at some other people installs in the rides section and use your imagination.

Sorry I couldnt be more help, Its late smile.gif
