hello all, i purchased a turbo timer online for a very cheap price, however i didnt realise it was 24 volt, can i still hook it up to my 12 volt car? my mate said i can but the timing may be a little out??? or is there a small power suply i can buy to fit under the dash to run this???

12 to 24 volt converters are made but for the price you could probably buy a new 12v turbo timer

yeah i have come across one but its 150 just for the converter, ill try my luck running it on 12 volt if it blows ah well

what's the current draw on the turbo timer?

if < 300mA, a $20 solution here:

Also I'd make sure whatever it outputs is only 12v too, might hurt stuff if it starts injecting 24v in ignition or whatever :/
