Well, as much as I'm torn on this, it looks like it may be that time to sell the van and concentrate on my store!

So now is your chance to buy a ready mix world record holder!

I'm only interested in selling the van 100% as is, with all equipment, truly a push button ready to burp kind of thing.

The van is as follows

90 Chevy Astro van
4 - JBL A6000GTi amps
4 - JBL w15GTi subwoofers
10 - Eagle Picher Horizon Batteries
Dual 1/0 wire from each battery terminal to thick copper bussbars (40 runs of 1/0) Batteries will supply enough to run a full deathmatch if needed
1 - Ohio Generator Alternator w/ external reg
1 - Clarion DRX735mp CD Player
1 - Custom podium made from JBL sub and amp w/ burp button.
1 - remote thermometer
1 - Full neon kit under, strobes, all amps filled with green neon.
2" thick plexi on front and drivers, 4" thick on passenger side glass.
New rims

Van will hit over 176+ on any meter, and is the current WR holder in dB Drag, IDBL, and MECA.

I plan on making a video for the new owner that details EVERY single detail about how everything is built, to assist in any future design changes. I would love nothing more than it end up in capable hands that have the time to keep it at the top for years to come....

And for a mere $35k plus postage, isnt this an automatic guarantee that you will hold the australian records for many many years to come? At the push of a button, you would be putting DD Phil and his boys into second spot for the first time in quite a while yeah? Sounds like a good investment to me..... hehe jks phil

And i'm thinking that Steve wouldn't 'seriously' consider spending that amount of dosh on an SPL weapon built by someone else.
Personally, I would rather build my own and come second.

There's a lot more things I'd do with that sort of folding before bothering with an SPL car I can assure you that !

yeah if it was here and competed it would then become the aus record holder aswell. you can use anycar it doesnt have to be sold here just has to be drivable into the lanes thats all, and would fall into extreme here like it does in the states.

but dam 35K thats well worth it then prob another 10K to get it over here.
so 45K that would most definately get any record from STreet A right through to SS3-4 with that type of money you could take a pic at what record you want to own LOL. gee 20K could do it if ya do half the work yaself LOL.

dam 70K theres so much more could do with that if ya spent it on SPL LOL

here what i would do LOL
12x Z1's $30,000 roughly
4x 9515's say $6,000 roughly
2x 9917's say $5,000 roughly
4x kentic batteries say $2,000 roughly.
$1000 for two little hatch back cars
the materials say $5000

build one for SM3-4 and the other for SM1-2

total cost = $49,000 and you would then have the two loudest cars in australia. i reckon and up to world class level to ;-)

Mate I think we all know anyone who thinks they could build a EXT3-4 vehicle to beat Mike's Astro in Australia for $35k is a damned fool. Look at that EXT rig Soundteam Fresh have, DD Phil had a massive hand in that and he damned well knows what he's doing, the lads running it are pretty tuned in too. Even they aint broken 170dB (yet ? )

its crazy, they get such big nymbers so regularly over there...like i was watchin the mythbusters thing, and the scores were like, 168s

A LOT of time and effort.

Mike spent 3 months tuning the console layout alone.. a lot of time, effort and money goes into a beast like that.
