This rule troubles me....

6-7h The sum total of “stiffening” capacitors in the Street A and Street B classes is limited to a maximum of 1 Farad. The sum total of “stiffening” capacitors in the Street C class is limited to a maximum of 2 Farads.



I have a Cadence cap that is 2 farad. Does this mean i cannot enter the Street A and Street B classes?

Yes, but...........just disconnect it and take it out, its not doing u any good anyway.

What should i i do about the hole that it leaves....

I spose i could reconstruct the thingy and reuphoulster it....

But its leather, and i dunno where to get leather from or how much it costs....

Just disconnect it on the day. And if you really want it, just reconnect it after you're done. Don't see why you'd keep it anyway.

How much you reckon i could sell it for?

I can always make it another port hole (a fake one) stirctly for cosmetic looks....

I sold a brand new Stinger 1 farad unit for $70.. caps aint worth a lot.

Do you think they would have any problems with me haveing twin port holes though my parcel shelf?

Its just an idea i am pondering up atm....

I would run them through my standard 6X9 speaker holes...

just leave the cap there and run fake power cables to it, then it still looks pretty in the install, while at the same time not lowering your SPL
