okay soon, hopefully tommrow im gona purchase my speaker setup. Im gna go with the DDW6.5Set for the front and run it off a C2a 2channel or S4 4channel depending on rears. I Love my rears, what rears should i get my speakers are 4inch, but wouldnt mind cutting them bigger.

I was thinking the DDC-6.5a but would this messs up my frontstage/sq?

i got a tv headunit so want 5.1 dolby. Would it be better to get jaycar 4inch 2 way coaxils?
heimerich
if you are looking for a rearfill, better off if you start with the same speaker that you use for your front stage powered with the same amplifier that you use for your front stage to have the same characteristic and better ambience

another option that you can try is get a decent full range speaker like AJ Jordan for your rear fill...
djkrim
aj jordan? im going to be using time correction to if that matters.

But if i get the s4 amp im going to have 200wat up front and 100w at rear would that be a problem?
heimerich
if you are using time correction, what is the point of having rear fill? unless if you are using unit like Denon or Nakamichi... save your money for sound deadening and other acoustic treatment can improve your audio alot more than having rear fill... rear fill doesn't do anything...
djkrim
but if ur using 5.1 u need rear fill???
bodapa
Are you creating a 5.1 Dolby car theatre system? If so then what Henry says make sense, use the same speakers as your front stage for your rears. This is to make sure that tonality is uniform across all speakers.

Cheers,

Bon

yee thanks dude
heimerich
if you are doing 5.1, you need rear fill but as I said you need to use the same speaker that you use as your front stage... good luck...
djkrim
