Firstly, I have to ask why you spent that sort of money on a Sub you have never heard?
Secondly, have you heard it?
Thirdly, what did YOU think of it??
Out of all the SS subs, I like the Exact the best. I find it reproduces more of the musicality in the music and has less tail then their other gear. I havent heard all of the SS subs to compare thoroughly though.

95 bucksfrom cash convertors. but they dont know how to test the speaker properly so i had 2 buy it and test it at home, but it need a box before i will get a proper result. i knew soundstream was a good audio company anyway just never heard much of their products.
they tested it with a normal audio source and the woofer pumps crazy with very little sound but with a proper sub bass output it gives better sound and no crazy woofer movement. Why??

far out, $95 is a bargain. Is it new-school exact series or the old school style?
when you initially connect a signal to the speaker the speaker will move inwards or outwards for that initial connection

Thats why i bought it so cheap and its quality the magnet on it is double the weight than most 10" and 12" subs
yes you move it inwards to connect it hope thats new school
What amp would you recomend for it?

I sold my 3 old ones for $200 each about 4 years ago not sure if your one is that old.
But sounded good and i used mine for SPL.
140 db off about 350wrms with 3 of them in a sealed box.
