I'm getting my sub put into my Mazda 6 sedan next week, was just wondering which way I should fire the sub.

It is a DLS MW12 12" Magnesium being put into a ported enclosure as recommended. Was just seeing if if is better to have it fire into the cabin or towards the back?

Sub is rated at 400wrm @ 4 ohms and is being run by an Arc Audio 1500xxk which is rated at 900 wrm @ 4 ohms, so power to spare.

Try both ways
Face it however it sounds better to you, as you will be the one listening to it

Cant really say which way is better (mine fires towards the back)..Its like trial n error, try to move the sub around the boot and have a listen to it with the same song over and over again till u find the best spot out of it.

It could be in the middle of the boot, on the right or left side or even fires to the cabin..Have fun! biggrin.gif

As they said, try it for yourself smile.gif From my experience, the results from the following link are correct though...
