Well I made a pact with myself today..... I'm sick of being a WOCAAA (widow of a car audio australia addict ) so I'm going to do something about it. My partner is really into car audio and this forum and I swear he could spend every hour of the day looking at this site. Whilst somewhat annoying for me on occassion, I totally love him and really respect that this is what he loves and who am I to try and stop him! However, I feel that if i want him to know that i support his involvement (in this very expensive leisure form) I should at least attempt to learn something about car audio. Currently, he starts talking about amps, crossovers, splits etc etc and I am completely dumbfounded and simply have to respond with something exceptionally witty like - yes dear, sounds nice. I would love to actually be able to have a respectable conversation with him about his interests rather than one where i just nod, smile on occasion and sometimes hmmmmm. So, i'm hoping that with your help (and patience) you can help me learn the ins and outs of car audio. I absolutely love his sound system and would be interested in adding some better quality sound equips into my car but I just have no idea! So, I am going to start reading some of your forums (I've already seen alot cuz he loves showing me all your installs etc) and hopefully, in the near future, I'll know a bit more about car audio then how to insert my cd into the stereo and adjust the volume. I know you are all way advanced with heaps of knowledge, but if you've got some spare time and want to start me off, i'd love to hear from you!

LOL thanks everyone! I am hoping to improve my car but atm i'm super poor cuz im still at uni!.... but at least the good thing of having a partner with a good install is that when he upgrades, i get his old stuff (which still seems pretty good to me!). I think we should set up a part of this forum for the girls! Not just for those who have installs (you are super cool!), but also for those who have no interest in car audio as kind of a support group LOL!!! Hopefully I will start being able to post something worthwhile - i've been reading heaps of threads so i'm actually learning something!

Anyway, my other half (im the better half of the two of course!!) is Luke352, and he is currently installing his DLS speakers into his 06 fiesta. My name is Alicia (Licia tho plz) and I'm a uni student - studying physio at UQ. I drive just a lil echo which has the entire boot consumed with Luke's last sub/amp box!!!! I wasn't gonna tell him for a while yet, but unfortunately I let slip that i'd been talkin to Marc and ummmmm that kinda gave it away! (How blonde of me - not even blonde )

So, now you know who I am, I hope you keep talking to me! It's nice kinda knowing a few ppl around here!
