Just a call for those out there experienced with the new VE's.

All the gear that I have is in my sig and need to stick it in there somehow.. The stock stereo is sooo crap.

Seeing as I don't have the K2P crossover's (I have been running active) I will just replace the factory speakers with the Focals and see how that sounds to begin with. How do I control an active setup from a speaker level input? Does the Blau HU come with an audio out?

I have a few sheet's of dynamat left over that will be going into the doors.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I went and had a good gawk at the VE today and can`t see how you can fit an aftermarket system in there. The centre panel section has so many items on it that is not stereo oriented that major custom work will be required.

The other drawback is being a new model NOTHING is compatable with previous models, including a new studpattern for example on the wheels and no fascia for a head unit.

From the outside they look wicked, but i will have to settle for the VZ as a more user friendly model for custom stereo fits.

if you can bare to live with the standard headunit, the rest should be fairly simple... although being blaupunkt, i wouldn't be surprised if there is already a pre-out, or an adapter would be coming soon

although i think the speakers have dropped to 5" so would need some custom work there.

at least the battery is already in the boot for ya!

Cheer's guys.

Probably the hardest part is going to be getting decent signal quality from the HU. I was thinking that because there is an upgrade option (to an external amplifier) so that I may be able to use whatever inputs that amp uses. Does anyone know more about this? Would holden help me out?

I'm looking into it, but what outputs do I use? Speaker level? Or is there a line level in there somewhere? Is the 3Sixty the only processor of its type?
