Pretty much as the title says, does anybody know much about these speakers?

They seem to be a bastardised version of the top Q- signature line.

I've been looking around lately for something in the $800-1000 range. Have heard dyn's and loved them but don't want to limit myself when looking around. I currently have MB Quart discus splits and whilst I like the sound, the tweeters can be a little harsh. However I've heard the reference series and these sound Completely different so I don't know what to think.

A store near me has offered the 6.5" MB Quart QSC speakers for $1000, claiming that retail is $1499, they pay $1060 for them, selling them under cost blah blah blah. I'm just curious as to whether this may in fact be a good opportunity to buy some quality speakers for a decent price.

the qsc were out bfore the signatures or the qsd's were, they are the base model, all the goodies without the refinement of the later two...

i used to have premiums, and they were nice, but i didnt like the brightness, be carefull, set them up correctly, at that price they are a steal..
