Many people here have experience with various Dyn and Morel components, just curious about your view on this possible combos. Would you go with Dyn MW162 + Morel CDM88 + Morel Piccolo or Dyn MW162 + Dyn MD142 + Morel Piccolo? Which is more critical? Better blending on midbass/midrange or on midrange/tweeter? It will be an active set-up controlled by Alpine H701 processor and powered by either Audison or Genesis amp.

I would be more concerned with what would perform better in the intended location (with particular attention paid to off axis response)
I've had far more issues with particular components simply not liking where they were put than in blending in with different brand components.

The CDM88 is the CDM54 with a better mounting arrangement. Both use the same driver, and it can go quite low compared to the MD140/2 or the MD142.
You can distinctly notice a difference between the two if ran active or custom passive, but off the shelf passive Ive found you cant really tell. The Dyn has a warmth to it, where-as the Morel is more distinctive and open, and has a better clarity in the top compared to Dyn (MD100 anyway).
