I have 2 12L5's in a Verada ,sealed box with 1000rms from a Rockford 1001bd and managed 136dB on termlab.
Just curious who else is using similar subs and what sort of results you have had as I am playing with new ported enclosures.

I did 139.2 with a single 12L7 off 900w with just some random box thrown in there. (It was actually made for two L7s so it went very crap)

I know of one person who did 151/152db with 2 x 10" L7's in a Honda CRX. With 4kw.
Only done in testing not an official score but.
I know of another guy who did 145.7db with 2 x 12" L7's in the boot of a camira. About 4-5kw.
Cant think of any L5 scores but.

thanks for the quick replies guys. Anyone have ported specs for 2?
Got the ones from Kicker but they all ported on the side and if I am facing them backwards the port is obstructed by the wheel arches.

who terry brocks is now doing 158s you say.
The 158 recored is world wide 155 is USA recored is terry brocks unless he is doing 158s now.
But 158.1db was done by a guy from france. he uesd Atomic APX x2 Tens
OK a quick check and it changed USA recored is now not 155 but 156 something but the L7s tens did do a 155db last year.

That means they only had half the output of the Atomics

L7s aren't too bad, they have a habit of busting tinsel leads though.

SWEET! I have just ordered 2 Kicker Solo-Baric S10L52... If these are the levels you guys are hitting, then I am going to be sooooooo freakin happy when they get here.... I have ordered them with a heap of Kicker SS Series splits and drivers, so when its all here, I will be at the comps and hopefully (big time hopefully) kicking ass....

I might be wrong here.. but I was under the impression the USA record for Street A was held by Brad Figard, who took it using 3x DD 8"s with the Z motor and 2x Z1 amps off a DD battery.
Andrew Jackson hit 149's with L7 12"s in his Pintara back in the day..

pretty sure andu used 9512's when he did his 149.9 on the termlab. pretty loud trunk score tho.
unless your talking further back in the stone age back b4 termlabs and you used to gain 3 db's from moving 5 meters to your left/right.
