Hey
im just planning my ported box for my 306C
I planned to use 2x 110mm ports but when i use that they are hugely long
if i use 1 x 110mm port it is acceptably long - do you think that would be enough?
its a 2-2.2cf box
thanx

aim to have the port length below 500mm so which ever diameter that is 500~800 will still shouldn't have any chuffing. Why not go with a slot port 300mm*30mm is under 500mm in lenght? Sorry i am at work and don't have my bass box so i cna't be to accurate.

slot ports just so much more work to build and they dont look that good, but is an option
if i go any smaller than about 100mm WinISD says there will be port noise and 110 is still on the boundary (and about 600mm long)

to tune to 30Hz, use a 100mm diameter pipe, 40cm long
to tune to 35Hz, use same diameter, 27cm long

so one 4" port will be enough? cool
just thought i might get noise

not sure if u will have issues with noise, i didnt. But to tune to 35Hz with 2 4" ports, length needs to be 60cm each.

to tune to 30Hz with 2 4" ports, length needs to be something like 85cm long each

for daily listening you do'nt need to tune that low for the 306 ~33 is good.
