The practice of inhaling such substances is sometimes colloquially referred to as huffing, sniffing or chroming.

What will that do to the warranty? (if you have any)

Mine is a bit scuffed and I was thinking of painting it red, but it's still under warranty.

If you filled the gap with red paint, seizing the voice coil you'd have a warranty problem!

We're not that pedantic that we'd deny a legitimate warranty claim because you painted the back plate.

Besides DD woofers have a lifetime warranty, so you'll be waiting a long time for it to run out.

Yeah, but if he bought it second hand.....

Hmmm, I might do that then (seeing as though i'm running it inverted).
Just gotta work out how i'm going to plug the hole...
mad89
hmm. rubber grommet perhaps?

go to clark rubber and get a chunk of rubber (moderately soft) and cut it out like 1-2mm bigger than the hole. and it should be soft enuf to squash in the hole, and firm enough not to leak...

just an idea that popped into my head...

how big is the hole? rough diam? oversized cork mite work too. lol who knows.
