Just a quicky

Is the Scosche multibattery connector intellegent? ie does it have a controller that only closes the solinoid once a preset voltage is present in the start battery? or is it a simple solinoid which connects once the ignition is on and a voltage is applied across the lower terminals?

The reason I ask is because I own a pair of the Redarc battery isolators (one SBI12 and one SBI12D the 'D' stands for dual way so if I apply a charge to the secondary battery once that charges to the specified voltage the solinoid closes and the primary battery recieves charge and vice versa). The Scosche item is about $30 cheaper than the Redarc - but i need an intellegent setup. If it is not I'm going to enquire how much the "voltage sensor" is worth by its self from redarc and I might start making my own "smart" solinoids for various applications (mostly 4x4 / camping / boating use)

Cheers,
