Im tossing up wether getting 2 TS-W3004SPL subs, or else 1 15" SoundStream Turantula...

both setup's will be in a ported box to manufactures box spex... and the pioneer sub's are the 750RMS ones...

any ideas ppl ? ? im not reallllllly looking to go into comps, depends how they perform i just love SPL...

how much power you got to play with?

well loud to the ear and loud on the meter are different things.

i would go the pioneers but it would probably come down to box design.

have your overlooked dd for any reason?

playing with a 1100RMS @ 2ohm Fusion monoblock.....

and i over-looked DD because they're everywhere you look, and also they're kinda expensive? ( when you dont know the right ppl for DD like my case )

go the pioneers and dont build the box to manufacturers specs. if your going for SPL the proper specs arent always the best.

an example is my fusion PP subs suit 3c/ft per sub. i have 4x 15's being their suposed best enclosure would be 12c/ft. yet i have them in a 16c/ft enclosure, that then being 4c/ft per sub. i once dropped it 2 cube and lost 1db so yeah to manufatucers specs chuck them out the window when it comes to SPL it comes down to what works best in your car. search and find someone thats used those subs for SPL before and find out what enclosure size they used.

yeah... i'll probably make the box a bit bigger...

but im not planning on making one.. test it.. change it.. dont have the time to do that, and i dont think it'll be much fun ripping the silicon out, all the screws, ripping the glue apart etc...
