Looking for an non-motorized LCD TS that'll slot into a VT HU Space.?

Are there any about, i just want it to fill the space left by the original stereo fully with touchscreen goodness looking factory and flush.

Nothing i can find seems like it'll fit.

Any Ideas?

im looking into this for my corolla also. at the moment the best thing ive come across is a 7 inch touch screen from jaycar. its not actually double DIN sized but i think it could fit in the hole. havent completely figured it out yet. what some1 on another forum did is used the case from his standard head unit after pulling out all the cd player internals, to mount the screen into that so it fits in perfectly.

kenwoods dvd HU is touch screen and double din but i dont think it is compatible to interface with carPC

to be able to fit in double din without too much hassle you'll need a 6.5" touchscreen. 7" is pushing it for size, but it can be done. 8" is a pure hack job (cutting out metal bits underneath the plastic etc.)

i'v got the 7" jaycar... it's just a LITTLE too big for a double din like half inch from the side n one inch from the bottom.... but nothing a little bit of fiberglass can't fix... yea u should be looking for 6.5" screens... but goodluck finding them with touchscreen

i would suggest trying Nesa. They've got a fare few screens that they stock and are good quality 2. A bloke i work with has 2 7" touch screens in his boot with his install. If not hit up jaycar
