Without doing a search (because I'm too lazy at the moment), so long as the changer has the Ce-NET logo on it, it should work.
The older Ce-BUS system products will not and need an adaptor which was a couple of hundred dollars from memory.
Clarion do make a DVD/MP3 12 disc changer that is supposed to be very good quality and is a good match for the HX-D2.
I sold one when I was in retail a couple of years ago but I can't remember the model number. Was about $2000+ I think.
I'm sure the Australian Clarion site could assist you though.

thanks, there isn't anything of the sort on the local Clarion site but the yanks do have a six disc dvd changer listed as a current model, as long as i know it is compatible (it has the CE-NET logo) I will get one.

It was available in Australia a couple of years ago but was not that popular due to the price. I was going to get one to run with my HXD2 but opted not to due to the fact that it did not like to play burnt discs. It would play some but seemed really tempremental ( sometimes, sometimes not ) I dont know what the issue was but I was going to get one for the option of playing MP3's as well as DVD's.
It does use CeNet for control as well as fibre optic for the sound so you can use the internal Burr Brown DAC's. Just make sure you have the Clarion cable ( I think it is included but not 100% sure ) The last one's we had sold for well under 2 grand so it may be worth ringing around to see if anyone still has one in stock.

if you get get one from america chances are it won't play any australian dvds because of the region lock on it. but i could be wrong. so don't quote me on that one.
