Hey guys, I'm new to the whole car audio thing and am wondering if someone could give me some info on what to expect for the X-Torque Brisbane thing this Saturday in Brisbane?

I am interested in coming along (not competing) and checking it out but have never been to one before- what is the format of the day? Are there a few different groups etc? Is there gonna be both a SPL and sound quality comp?

Any info would be great

basicly everyone rocks and enters from 3-4
for SQ there are a few different classes. novice (for the new guys), amature, and pro. which also have street and show sections, street is just judged on SQ, where the show part judges the install and the SQ.

then you have the SPL/dBDrags, which has a fair few different classes ect.

everything starts from about 4 and normally goes to about 9-10ish (depending how many people attend) which has a presentation and they announce the winners ect

everyone is fairly friendly and will have a chat.
