hey all was considering putting my ps2 in me car.
Its one of the old big bitches.
i was wondering if the cds and crap round scratch because they scratch when ya move the ps2 when its runnin in the house... any way to get round it? slim line ps2?

if it scratches with you just moving it around a bit in your home then sounds like you might have a half-bung ps2. there's plenty of people running both the slimline and fatline editions in their cars and i've never heard of such a problem.

Actually was told by the bloke that installed my chip that it stratches when ya move her around. Dunno.

Never had a problem with it.... If you ever need to get rid of the scratches take your games to Blockbuster... cost $1 per disk and it removes all the scratches...

just installed a PS2 in the pimpmobile
its a slim line tho so the CD clicks in to provent movement

There is a third option. I have modded my PS2, I added a 80gig harddrive and I run all my games off it. It's not fitted in my car, just at home but it would be great in the car too since the HDD holds about 20 games, so you don't need discs in the car at all then.

What sorta programs and so on do u need to run the hdd? is it a laptop 2.5" hard drive?cheers
