Its a pretty good night mate come along and enter its only $20 for novice see how you go... It costs $10 if your spectating just look for the green honda and leave the money inside...
jks spectating is free and adds to the atmosphere
Riley.
Jun 19 2007, 05:34 PM
yeah come down.....bring your friends.....relatives.....pets
anyone can come and watch and almost anyone can compete as arc Honda said its $20 to enter novice in SQ (Sound Quality) or $20 to enter the DB Drags (making noise)

Jul 1 2007, 10:19 PM
Hmm.. I may come down for this one, pretty sure its something like a 30 minute drive, but I'm not certain what I would enter (novice or am, depending what I figure is worthwhile, if they are judged the same, might as well bite the bullet and go am), wouldn't mind going SPL either, see if I can better the 129.7 at the tnt last year lol

my car is pretty much complete now bar a rta tune just my ol ears. my car's theme is complete anyway. red lights, 55EXX plates, purple fur?!? yeah thats the best i could think of for a pimp but crap where is the girls damn! my display should be a laugh!
might sound sad but i think the road for 55EXX has come to its modifying end :-(

Jul 5 2007, 11:28 PM
Well, my plans have changed at the last minute. AGAIN.
for good this time

i should be able to get down there....
Quick question.. what time will everyone be getting there?
Also, in regards to system noise... i would assume that because my jaycar amp makes its own noise, that would mean not as many points, right? its only audible when there is no music, and it doesnt matter if the engine is on/off, revving, etc. its also temperamental so yeah... hmm. maybe it will be nice for me.
Riley.
Jul 6 2007, 09:39 AM
Alex - you going novice or am street?
you might loose 2 points (1 for engine on, 1 for off)....im in the same boat....i think ive got rid of my noise but i cant tell anymore

Would anyone object to a photo of their car/system being taken on the night, and put up here for people from other states to have a looksee on what some of the cars and setups are?
I'm thinking that if I can make it (bout 80% sure that I could make this the first comp I attend) I'll bring along my camera to take some pics of the night etc.. unless people object

Jul 6 2007, 07:06 PM
thats actually a pretty good idea hey, might pay to bring a pad and paper and get details of it

Jul 6 2007, 07:19 PM
yer good idea, i was thinking about getting my uncles camera one time (its a really good one) but havnt ever remembered to ask him for it. just blur numberplates and i dont think anyone would have a problem
Louie
Jul 6 2007, 08:03 PM
True, I didn't think to take a pen and paper, and yea I'd blur the plates as well, but I'll definately bring the camera, I want to either enter Novice or Am Street with how it's tuned at the moment, see what others think as well I suppose
Woody
Jul 6 2007, 08:52 PM
I'll be bringing the X-trail down. Not sure if I'm entering yet though.
Feel free to come and see me for a listen if any of you are interested.

OEG50
Jul 6 2007, 11:23 PM
just for the competiors in show that have adapters that plug there car into main power so the battery doesn't go flat plus it is need for the db drags computers etc.
yeah take photo's of if you want. i'll give you a full shoot if you want.
