Hi I'm Dan and I'm a Canberra Boy.

I came accross these boards and thought I'd see what you guys have to offer

I drive a Toyota Supra with pretty much every bolt on mod under the sun making about 400+rwkw.

Stereo wise I have an oldish alpine deck, stock speakers with some pioneer 4" replacements and 2 Type R 12" 4ohm dual coil where my rear seat used to be

Tollerated this setup until my right tweeter recently blew giving me an instant headache by turning my stereo on so I'll be on here asking lots of questions about upgrading my system

I need a better stereo to keep my licence! Reasoning being if I listen to music I drive casually, not going to go crazy when I can't hear what the engine is doing However now with a dead system all I can hear is my engine and I just want to keep hearing that turbo spool

take your time, and learn as much as you can before buying anything.

it'll save you 000's in the long run if you don't have to buy everything twice.

p.s.
don't be afraid to use the search function -
if you want to find something with only 3 letters, such as 'PLD' then put a * at the end, i.e. 'PLD*', or the search will hate you.

im canberra too. If you'd come a day earlier you would've known about the act meetup today

My car was off the road last weekend anyway last weekend, having the last lot of performance mods finished off to perfection, but should be good from next weekend onwards with no more issues
