Hey ppl,

i found this pic (might have even been from this site) and was just wondering what you guys thort in regards to it being a good spot...

also

are the rear speakers in VN commodore 6" or 6.5" ??//

thanks for ur help!
Louie
Kinda hard to tell definately what that pic is of, but I'd guess the parcel shelf? If you look on here, and especially on the SQ forums, you will notice that the bias is that rears aren't necessary, unless you want to keep your passengers happy, but stocks (faded forward) are generally seen to be enough. I'd guess that the stock speakers would be 6" as well out of those 2 options, but 6.5's should be easy enough to fit in, so long as there is nothing better you can spend your money on.

What do you want to do? Is there a reason behind mounting aftermarket speakers in the rear?

Probably better off having posted this in the beginners/general area as well, so perhaps a mod could move it?

cheers mate....

i wanted splits front and rear cause me mate had a set in his.. and sounded awesome no matter what seat you were in....

so thats the main reason i was thinking of doing that...

the pic was of a parcel shelf... where would be the best place to put a crossover as well??

thanks again!
Louie
The crossover will be fine wherever you can fit it. Near the amp, near the speakers, somewhere hidden, it's up to you and where you want to put them really. If you feel that spending money on the rears is a good idea, go for it as it is your money. But I personally wouldn't spend a lot on them, because you won't get any benefit from the rears, only the freeloaders will tongue.gif

That pic is taken from Rabb!t's VS Berlina. You could ask him how he did it, also report on how it sounds. You'll find his install thread here
