Hi All,

I've done a search and can see that there was some buzz about the Infill T3 car pc a while back. Well I'm looking decide between a standard HU or something more extreme like a car pc. The only problem, is that I do not have the skills nor technical acumen to create something with everything that I want.

I did however stumble across this. Its the Infill G4 found on the website http://www.maxice.com.au/

Nice 6.5inch double din unit that seems to have all the functions I'm looking for.

But the question is, has anybody seen or used this HU before? Does anybody even know what price we're looking at here? How do these things integrate with other standard car audio parts. (amps etc)

Thoughts?

Thanks!
Brycestro
Judging by the specs on the site, you can purchase it with either built in amplification or pre-outs... if you got the pre-out model, you could run RCA's from the unit to your amps just like you would with any headunit. If you wanted to take it further for sound quality, you could have a USB sound card coming from one of the usb ports on the G4 (for example the Creative Audigy 2NX), then run optical from the sound card to a processor such as the Alpine PXA-H701, then RCA's would run from the PXA-H701 to the amplifiers, speaker cable runs from amplifiers to speakers.

A price would be nice wouldn't it smile.gif
