I think one of the oldschool members (golfbht?) who was into building his own passive Xovers also used to make comparisons like this.
Certain caps sounding oily. Some sounding smooth.
I guess we won't know till we try it...

Are you serious Stooge??
You can EASILY tell the difference between Caps. Its easier then telling the difference between amps. There is no such thing as an ideal capacitor, as all models have a little inductance and resistance to them too. Each model also has differing values of these, which affect phase and frequency response, giving you differenct sounds!!
