Hi All, I have been out looking for a new system and this is what I have come up with so far any tips pointers or downfalls. I am looking at an alpine 9885 Head unit also not sure 100% which way im going to go with that.
Focal 165 V2 Splits
sound stream rfw-12 sub
sound stream tra680 AMP
Sound Stream SST6.5
Inc Install 2k

Those splits are good, personally, I like the 165K2P's more but that's my opinion. You also have to factor in wiring (and dynamat if you're using it). Custom installs can get very pricey very fast. goodluck mate

never know where to put these things first time round. Not wanting to go too custom with the install just looking for something clean and sounding sweet.
I'm still thinking install is going to cost somewhere around $400.. That leaves you with ~1600 to get the aforementioned gear. (Don't forget wiring!!)

Sorry wisdom I have been quoted $2k installed and Tossing up if i want the apline 9885 as an additional cost.
