Well. I've finally finished off the system in the 2.
Tuning is now next in the game aswell as doing the final beauty bits on it.
Any suggestions as to the Xover points for the subs?
I've been told not to have the same xover points for different bands.
Any light to be shed on this?

Any suggestions as to the Xover points for the subs?
I've found, 80hz with a 24db slope or 63hz with a 12db slope both work well for me, combined with my midbass cut at 80hz with a 6db slope (I steapen it a bit more for day to day to help prevent midbass damage).

Some suggestions for your ride Mon, try the HP on the midbass at 63Hz at 24db/oct for a nice up front bass, or 80-100Hz at 18-24db/oct for louder stuff. Your midbass bellows out at high volumes on the really low notes. The subbass is right behind you, so you shouldnt have that much of a problem crossing higher, plus by doing so, the Dyns will give you slightly more attack.
Would also suggest LP the subs a step down from the midbass, say around 63Hz, but on a slightly shallower slope. I personally dont like 18dB/oct much, but you might find it right in your case.
Either way, these are just suggestions, so give them a try and see if they work for you.

I'd just fiddle around until it sounds where you want it.

We generally use a steeper slope for the subwoofer. When subwoofers are crossed with a shallow slopes they still tend to play frequencies reaching into the midbass region. This intern drags the stage backwards which is not overly desirable.
On another note; these are a couple of photos of the last MR2 we did if anyone is interested...

Hope that helps a little.
