any one know of a sound converter they could mabye send me or give em link to. or if you can give em the name of the program ill get it easily off the net.

you mean backing up your CD's to MP3?

Exact Audio Copy is what i use when i want high quality archives.

I tend to use Windows Media Player conversion when i just want an album in a hurry and encode to MP3 256kbps minimum

I find CDex works quite well.

Another vote for Exact Audio Copy, but I use a lame encoder

lame enc is good

EAC works a treat, but can take ages to do a 100% rip.

CD-DA is quick, and works with lame-enc.
